Loving God, One Another, and the World
We are a warm, prayerful community of faith that loves God and cares for one another and the world in gentle ways. We value beauty and simplicity, and our worship reflects that. We love scripture, especially the stories of Jesus, and every week our pastor, Mary, tries to help us take something home from the Bible to chew on. Because we are a multigenerational family with many tastes, our music spans a variety of styles, from old time hymns, to stately classics, to contemporary. We use the piano and acoustic guitar. Come as you are–there’s no special dress code. We look forward to welcoming you in the name of the Lord who loves us all!
Friends, we worship in person at church every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. EDT, and also via Zoom, a videoconferencing platform. Regardless of vaccination status, everyone should wear masks for worship and any other gatherings in person. To join us on Zoom, click on our contact page, send us a message, and we will send you the connection information. You can join us on your computer, but you can also connect with us by phone. Pastor Mary will be glad to show you how.
You can find meditations posted online to read at The Mustard Seed Journal and in audio format on the “Hear the Word at Morton Church” page of this site.
